Abstract
We report a child with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC) and Hirschsprung's disease secondary to an autoimmune inflammatory process of prenatal onset. The ongoing myositis was steroid responsive. Our case demonstrates a previously unreported manifestation of autoimmunity and indicates that some cases of AMC can be treated medically.
