Abstract
Asthmatic children who suffer from exercise-induced bronchoconstriction were administered Terbutaline through a spacer prior to exercise. The spacer was found to improve drug delivery if the patient had difficulty using a metered-dose inhaler properly and protected the patient from exercise-induced asthma.
