Abstract

The current global quest for therapies to mitigate or cure COVID-19 has highlighted to need for and power of network and systems medicine. Virus and host interactomes are searched for effective drugs targets, ideally rapidly validated by drug repurposing studies including network pharmacology approaches.
Network and Systems Medicine is the ideal journal to present such interdisciplinary work in bioinformatics, biomedicine, and clinical research to the scientific community. On a wider scale, these COVID-19 approaches exemplify the power of network and systems medicine applicable to all other infectious and non-communicable diseases.
All submissions will be subject to rigorous peer review and will receive prompt publication upon formal acceptance. We encourage submissions of original research articles, reviews, and perspectives.
