Abstract
Unsafe abortion is a significant cause of mortality and morbidity throughout the world, especially in developing countries. Improving women's access to safe, high-quality abortion care is a growing concern in developed and developing country settings. A framework for quality of care is provided as a management tool for guiding responsible introduction of abortion care technologies.
