In the article “The Proinflammatory Cytokine-Induced IRG1 Protein Associates with Mitochondria,” by D. Degrandi, R. Hoffmann, C. Beuter-Gunia, and K. Pfeffer, which was published in Volume 29, Number 1 of Journal of Interferon & Cytokine Research, pages 55–68, the PCR primers for IRG1 were incorrect. Specifically, in Material and Methods, under the heading Real-time RT-PCR analyses, the PCR primers for IRG1 were incorrectly printed as “gag ctg ggc cat tca cac and tcc atg tct tgg gat ctg g.” The correct IRG1 primers are as follows:
gct gct ttt gtt aat ggt gtt g and cga tag agc tgt gag gac agg
All experiments described in the article were performed with the correct primers. The authors regret any inconvenience that this error might have caused.
