Abstract
An electron microscopic technique employing postembedding immunolabeling was used to identify unmodified, intracellular MuIFN-β molecules. The MuIFN-β was rapidly internalized by receptor-dependent endocytosis and within three minutes a majority of internalized MuIFN-β molecules was detected within the cell nucleus.
