Abstract
Gamma interferon (IFN-γ), induced by sensitization of mice with Mycobacterium bovis strain BCG followed by challenge with tuberculin, was partially purified by adsorption on silicic acid. Administration of the partially purified IFN-γ to mice significantly depressed levels of liver microsomal cytochrome P-450 to an equivalent extent as crude IFN-γ
