Abstract
The interferon (IFN)-inducing ability of Sendai virus was compared with several strains of blue tongue virus (BTV) using a lymphoblastoid cell line (Namalwa) for IFN production. Sendai virus was found to be a better inducer of IFN than BTV when both antiviral and antiproliferative activities were measured.
