ABSTRACT
The manufacture of Polachrome 35 mm Instant Slide Film results in an aqueous waste stream containing hexavalent chromium. Evaluation of various potential treatment technologies are reviewed. A description of an installed carbon adsorption system and performance data for this system during the past four years (1980-1984) are presented.
