ABSTRACT
Zero order and first order kinetic models were evaluated to describe the removal of seventeen phenolic compounds from soil. Data were analyzed by linear regression. Zero and first order rate constants are presented. Zero order and first order kinetics described the removal of phenolic compounds in soil with correlation coefficients of r = 0.91 to 1.00 and r = 0.83 to 0.99, respectively, which are significant at P<0.01.
