Abstract
ABSTRACT
The examination and comparison of hazardous waste legislation and disposal arrangements for hazardous wastes in western industrialized countries provides a picture of many similarities but also great differences. In this paper a brief description of hazardous waste legislation and waste management structure are given for a limitied number of countries, namely Belgium, West-Germany, Denmark, France, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom and the USA. Wherever useful, information has been supplied in the form of tables.
