Abstract
Autoimmune progesterone dermatitis (APD) represents a hypersensitivity reaction to endogenous progesterone. The condition presents with a variety of skin eruptions characterized by cyclical recurrent premenstrual exacerbations due to progesterone fluctuation during the menstrual cycle. We hereby describe the first case in modern literature of an association with a rheumatoid nodule of the ovary in a patient who presented with right-sided pelvic pain.
