Abstract
Mesenteric pseudoaneurysms represent a rare but potentially lethal complication of surgical intervention. In the post-catheterization setting, the standard of care for pseudoaneurysms is percutaneous injection of thrombin using ultrasound guidance. We present an unusual case of a 68-year-old woman who had an asymptomatic mesenteric pseudoaneurysm detected on CT examination after debulking surgery for advanced ovarian cancer. The pseudoaneurysm was treated with ultrasound guided percutaneous injection of thrombin, with long-term success of 5.5 years to date.
