Abstract
Intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUCDs) migrating from the uterus occurs can cause severe morbidity, requiring its removal. The recommended treatment for the misplaced IUCD is laparoscopic removal. We report a case of misplaced copper-T that was deeply embedded and engulfed in the omentum and that could not be located on laparoscopic exploration. Removal was done using fluoroscopic guidance during laparoscopy instead of laparotomy. (J GYNECOL SURG 21:29)
