Abstract
ABSTRACT
The authors describe a new modification of the vaginal sacrospinous ligament suspension. The DFS stapler has allowed rapid and safe bilateral sacrospinous suspension in 54 patients from January 1, 1994, through December 31, 1997. The technique is described. The blind introduction of the suspending suture through a minimal pararectal dissection without any specialized retractor, and without any assistant, is feasible. (J GYNECOL SURG 15:19, 1999)
