ABSTRACT
In rare instances, the traditional approaches to termination of pregnancy may prove to be unsuccessful even in the most experienced hands. The authors present such an experience and report to the best of their knowledge the first case of termination of a first trimester pregnancy managed by laparoscopic hysterotomy.
