Abstract
ABSTRACT
We report a case of a patient with simultaneous bilateral tubal ectopic pregnancies with five previous elective midtrimester abortions. Her history was unremarkable for pelvic inflammatory disease or intrauterine device usage, and before any termination procedure, she had two normal spontaneous vaginal births without postpartum curettage. The question of whether midtrimester abortion increases the risk for the development of an ectopic pregnancy is raised. (J GYNECOL SURG 7:47, 1991)
