ABSTRACT
In this issue, we present parts I and II of a five-part discussion of excisional conization of the cervix uteri. Parts III, IV, and V will apear in the next issue of the JOURNAL. In part IA, the anatomy of the cervix is reviewed, and in part IB, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia is discussed.
