ABSTRACT
A case of primary malignant melanoma of the vagina is presented. Light microscopy and electron microscopy studies of the tumor are described. The patient was treated with local excision followed by brachytherapy and chemotherapy. The patient survived for 3 years after the initial discovery and treatment of the melanoma.
