ABSTRACT
Pneumothorax is one of the possible complications of laparoscopy. Although many factors may account for pneumothorax occurring during laparoscopy, the presented case illustrates the potential for laseroscopy to contribute to this rare complication. An association between laseroscopy and pneumothorax was not found to have been reported previously.
