Sports bettors in New York bettors have helped overdeliver on the considerable hype and attention the Empire State received with its January entrance into the mobile sports wagering space. It has posted billion-dollar handles in multiple months, eye-popping revenue totals, and perhaps most important, state tax revenues at a rate exceeding even the most optimistic forecasts.
