Abstract
This article reviews and responds to John Kindt's The Economic Impacts of Legalized Gambling Activities, originally published in the Drake Law Review. While Kindt tried to create special categories of behavior to explain gaming and gambling, this response, in turn, uncovers and discusses deeply systemic problems with that approach and the resulting discourse. Certainly the phenomena of legal gambling should be examined. However, this response shows that Kindt's attempt is generally a failure to do so appropriately.
