Abstract
Facial masculinization surgery represents a group of procedures that are aimed at achieving better congruence between facial anatomy and internal gender identity in transgender men. 1 Although techniques for performing facial feminization surgery are widely described, surgical masculinization techniques are underreported. First-line therapy for facial masculinization includes testosterone therapy; however, in many patients, adequate masculinization is not achieved with hormone therapy alone, in which case surgery may be pursued. Herein, we describe surgical pearls of a consolidated approach for facial masculinization.
