Abstract
This case report explores the rarity and significance of tri-allelic patterns in forensic DNA analysis focusing on the identification and interpretation of unique Type-I and Type-II patterns. Through the analysis of unique tri-allelic genotypes in the Pakistani population, including cases of disputed paternity and criminal investigations, this research highlights the complexities and implications of such genetic anomalies. These case reports highlight the importance of updating databases like NIST short tandem repeats to reflect these findings. The results will be submitted to the NIST database, providing valuable insights for forensic analysts in accurately interpreting tri-allelic patterns and making informed decisions in challenging scenarios.
