Abstract
Retained ductal stones after biliary surgery present challenging management problems. We have used urologic endoscopic techniques, including electrohydraulic and ultrasonic lithotripsy, to extract retained biliary duct calculi with minimal morbidity in three particularly difficult cases. Until other specialists gain the skills needed for such extractions, urologists can provide valuable assistance in the management of retained biliary calculi.
