Abstract
Laparoscopic urology carries special significance in children because the reduced trauma of access and the earlier recovery translate into less psychological trauma and easier acceptance of surgery. The author discusses the use of laparoscopy in cryptorchidism, orchiopexy, orchiectomy, intersex states, and varicocele treatment.
