Abstract
Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy occasionally is performed in patients with intestinal urinary diversions. Examinations or manipulations are often difficult owing to poor distention and peristaltic contractions of the bowel segment. These problems can be overcome using a sheath fashioned from a Foley catheter.
