Abstract
Fifty-four consecutive patients were treated with transperineal ultrasound-guided 125I seed implantation for Stage B adenocarcinoma of the prostate by a single team. The planned dosimetry was 16,000 rads. The tabulated results indicate an excellent response to interstitial radiation with remarkably few complications and side effects.
