Aneurysmal Catheter Dilation and Wire Breakage Complicating Percutaneous Nephrostomy

Abstract

Aneurysmal catheter dilation and wire breakage are both reported complication of percutaneous access procedures. We report the first case in which both complications occurred in the same patient. A brief review of the pertinent literature as well as discussion of appropriate management of this complication will be presented.
