Abstract
Enzyme excretion was determined before and in the first 24 hours after extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (SWL) in urine sampled selectively from the treated and contralateral kidneys. Tubular dysfunction occurs in the diseased kidney but does not worsen after SWL.
