Abstract
A pelvic kidney with a congenital spiral twist of ureter and a ureteral stone was approached by a retrograde transperitoneal nephrostomy in combination with laparoscopy. Percutaneous transperitoneal endopyelotomy and transluminal antegrade ureteroplasty after ultrasonic lithotripsy were performed. The postoperative course was uneventful, and an excretory urogram 3 months after this intervention showed complete resolution of the ureteral obstruction.
