Abstract
A waterproof film cassette holder has been designed for use with a water bath lithotripter. This simple device provides an easy method of obtaining high-resolution radiographs with minimal inconvenience. We utilize a high-speed film/screen combination to minimize exposure time without significantly compromising resolution. This provides increased accuracy for monitoring the fragmentation of urinary calculi. We are able to use this system without repositioning our patients.
