Abstract
Percutaneous nephrolithotomy is usually carried out with minimal morbidity and few perioperative complications. Despite the close proximity of the lung and bowel, injury to these adjacent organs is uncommon, and only nine cases of colon perforation have been documented. We report a case of percutaneous nephrolithotomy complicated by a small-bowel perforation. This appears to be the first published case of this complication.
