Abstract
A modification of the Lawson retrograde nephrostomy technique using the flexible ureteroscope allows a precise puncture of the chosen calix under direct vision. This technique facilitates an assessment of the renal pelvis and infundibula and potentially assures creation of the optimal nephrostomy tract for a given procedure. Our initial experience with three patients is reported.
