Abstract
The Greenberg universal retractor and handrest, designed for neurosurgery, has been adapted for support of endourologic instruments. Use of the Greenberg system reduces trauma by preventing undesired movement of instruments and reduces operator stress and fatigue. In addition, the system is valuable in teaching and in obtaining photographs free of motion artifacts.
