Abstract
Continuous irrigation with the Uromat has obviated dilatation in ureterorenoscopy and converted this endoscopic technique into a procedure almost as easy as conventional urethroscopy. Severe complications were reduced to 0.9%, the average hospital stay was reduced to 1.6 days, and the success rate for stone removal was increased to 98%.
