Abstract
This is a reply to the three papers that were presented at the inaugural meeting of the new Section on Election Law, which took place at the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, on January 4, 2015. The author tries to assess where we stand regarding the future of the Voting Rights Act and also provides a short history of the creation of the Section on Election Law itself.
