Abstract
Technology advances have made it easier to do cross-disciplinary research. Without the usual limitations of time, space, and subject matter, Internet users can navigate freely and retrieve knowledge of every conceivable area. Amid the vast volume of information on the net, however, finding quality material in a timely manner can be a daunting challenge. Even the most comprehensive Internet search engine today covers only 16% of the estimated 800 million pages on the Web. This article provides an overview of gerontology resources on the Internet, points out short cuts, and is intended to guide Internet users to effective online research.
