Abstract
In the following we discuss two cases where CO2 laser treatment improved patients' quality of life. The first case was one of molluscum contagiosum in a 9-year-old black child with AIDS who had been unsuccessfully treated four times with cryotherapy at the D. Estefania Children's Hospital in Lisbon. The second case involved a 39-year-old female suffering from neurofibromatosis, von Recklinghausen's disease, or molluscum fibrosum. Her pheochromoytoma and generalized skin lesions had been unsuccessfully treated previously.
