Abstract
Over a period of 18 months, some 2,000 cases of verruca pedis and onychocryptosis have been successfully treated using a CO2 laser. Observations noted were:
An increase in the number of patients seen per day A decrease in postoperative pain Generally, a faster healing time
Where long waiting lists are very much the norm, the CO2 laser proved itself a very valuable asset.
