Abstract

The cover of AIDS Patient Care and STDs Volume 12, Number 8, August 1998, shows a photograph of Stela Teodora Ciuta, M.D. incorrectly identified as Giovanni Rezza, M.D. Dr. Stela Teodora Ciuta is affiliated with Instituto Superiore di Sanitá, Laboratory of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Centro Operativo AIDS, Rome, Italy, and Inspectoratul de Politie Sanitara si Medicina Preventiva, Laboratory of Epidemiology, Bacau, Romania. And is co-author of "Predictors of Survival in Children with Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome in Italy, 1983 to 1995." on pages 629-637 of that issue. We apologize to our readers and in particular to Dr. Stela Teodora Ciuta for this unfortunate error, and for any inconvenience we caused Dr. Ciuta and her co-authors.
