Abstract
Cosmetic lower lip sculpting is useful in the correction of lower lip macrochelia lip eversion that is usually the result of hyperplasia of the minor salivary glands causing mucosal fullness and lip eversion. Forty-eight patients were treated with lip sculpting for this disorder. Two patients developed hypertrophied scars and three patients had small retention cysts treated by marsupialization.
