Abstract
Autologous hair transplantation first introduced in 1893 has been rapidly improving more recently. Multiple hair grafts are commonly used, but single-hair grafts allow reconstruction of the eyebrow and eyelashes. The author has developed a transplanter to make the insertion of single hairs simpler and reports results in 1,184 patients over a 12-year period of time.
