Abstract
Microabrasion with aluminum oxide crystals is a relatively noninvasive procedure with little risk when abrading striae distenseae. This study was undertaken to determine the risks of microabrasion in treating other skin pathology, including acne scars, posttraumatic and postsurgical scars, skin hyperpigmentation, keloids, hypertrophic scars, and diastasis scars.
