Abstract
A 46-year-old woman with known situs inversus totalis and recent mitral valve replacement presented with nausea and vomiting. Ultrasonography demonstrated a left-sided microlithiasic gallbladder. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed successfully. The postoperative recovery was uneventful. The literature on this subject is reviewed.
