Abstract
Advances in pediatric endosurgery have led to the development and performance of a wide spectrum of simple and complex thoracoscopic procedures in children. As in any type of surgery, the more novel and complex the procedure, the more likely it is that complications will occur. This article discusses the peri- and intraoperative complications likely or known to be associated with pediatric thoracoscopy.
