Abstract
Patient satisfaction has gained widespread recognition as an important indicator of quality of care. In this study, we analyzed quality of care in correlation with patient satisfaction. Our results indicate that the overall satisfaction of quality of care of HIV/AIDS patients in a dedicated HIV/AIDS unit is affected mainly by the patient’s perception of his/her health status, level of professional or family support, and the patient’s level of involvement in treatment decisions.
