Abstract
Giant vaginal fibromyoma during pregnancy can lead to dystocia and cesarean section. We report the case of a giant vaginal fibromyoma diagnosed during midtrimester that reached 10 × 12 cm at term. Vaginal delivery was decided after the removal of the tumor by vaginal surgery under epidural anesthesia at the onset of labor. The patient gave birth to a 3780-g healthy baby. Postpartum period was uneventful. This report showed that it was possible to avoid unnecessary surgery during pregnancy with giant vaginal fibromyoma.
