Abstract
A 47-year-old woman presented with sudden and progressive right lower quadrant pain. Her past medical history was remarkable for total vaginal hysterectomy and left salpingoophorectomy for fibroids. Abdominal/pelvic computed tomography revealed a heterogenous mass. The patient was taken to the operating room and a 7-cm mass was found in the retroperitoneal space, attached to the right round ligament as it passed through the internal inguinal ring. Pathology revealed a lipoleiomyoma.
