Abstract
A 51-year-old woman with a history of stone disease sustained two 3 × 2-mm ileal perforations during SWL (6000 shockwaves; 0.33–0.42 mJ/mm2) for a 14 × 8-mm left-sided midureteral stone. Low energy levels should be applied when ureteral stones are treated by SWL with the patient prone.
